Built in a former bowling alley in the village of Ayer\u2019s Cliff in the Eastern Townships, the artisanal dairy La Pinte sources milk from local Jersey cow farms in the Coaticook Valley and the municipality of Racine. These farms are located less than 20 km from the dairy, which helps minimize transportation time and, in turn, the ecological footprint of their products. <\/p>\n

Smaller in size, Jersey cows produce milk that is very rich in fat and protein. The result: a nutritious milk that is creamier and more flavorful! <\/p>\n

The dairy favors glass bottling for its various products. Glass is a natural material that can be recycled infinitely without losing its properties and contains no chemicals that could affect the environment, taste, or freshness. <\/p>\n

To reduce the environmental impact of human consumption, their glass bottles are returnable so the dairy can reuse them as many times as possible. The caps are also recyclable. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dairy products are produced exclusively in Saguenay\u2013Lac-Saint-Jean using the region\u2019s resources. Even the cows are primarily fed with locally grown products! <\/p>\n

Nutrinor is a cooperative. Local dairy farms that are members deliver their production to the Alma dairy. <\/p>\n

Sustainable agriculture is at the heart of their operations. Over a hundred farms have joined the Nutrinor Sustainable Agriculture Pact, a joint commitment to improve the ecological footprint of farm practices in their region, focusing on three areas: land, people, and animals. Transitioning to carbon-neutral packaging is just one of many concrete actions reflecting this commitment. <\/p>\n

Located in Saint-Jean-de-Matha, Lanaudi\u00e8re, this company is run by two brothers. Since 2013, they have been transforming milk from their herd of Holstein cows into a variety of fresh dairy products. <\/p>\n

Their milk is free from antibiotics, hormones, and pesticides thanks to their sustainable, GMO-free farming practices. Additionally, no artificial colors, preservatives, or flavors are added. <\/p>\n

Their dairy products stand out due to the use of low-temperature pasteurized, non-homogenized milk and high-quality ingredients.<\/p>\n

The first activities of Laiterie Chalifoux date back to 1920. Known under the brand Maison Riviera, the Sorel-Tracy company continues to stand out in its industry. <\/p>\n

Maison Riviera offers a wide range of products: organic, lactose-free, vegan, goat\u2019s milk or cow\u2019s milk-based, and more. Their exceptional products have earned them several awards since 2015.
For most of their products, the milk comes from nearby local farms or from Quebec Milk Producers. To create products with the best ingredients, fruits are imported from various countries such as Italy, Spain, Morocco, Turkey, and countries south of the equator for exotic fruits. <\/p>\n

The organic hens live in a free environment that allows them to move around freely in the barn, both indoors and outdoors when weather permits. They are fed certified organic grains, vitamins, and minerals, in an environment free from pesticides and GMOs. <\/p>\n
